    Texured glass

Low-Iron Textured & Solar Glass (Patterned Diffusion Optics)

Low-iron textured glass (commonly referred to as solar glass, ultra-clear patterned glass, or photovoltaic diffusion glass) is an engineered optical substrate formulated with reduced iron oxide content ($Fe_2O_3 \le 0.015\%$) to maximize luminous transmittance across visible and solar spectrums.

    Functions:
Features a micro-embossed textured pattern on the surface that scatters transmitted light uniformly, eliminates specular glare, and significantly increases the beam divergence angle. The high-purity glass formulation minimizes internal optical absorption, maximizing total light capture and overall energy conversion efficiency. High-thermal-endurance substrates can also be combined with thin-film vacuum coatings (PVD-EBGE) for anti-reflective (AR), dichroic color, or UV-blocking capabilities without degrading under intense solar or lamp radiation.

    Applications:
    High-power stage washers
    Aarchitectural floodlights Commercial display lighting
    LED luminaire diffusion panels
    Solar photovoltaic (PV) modules
    Architectural daylighting canopies
    Concentrated solar thermal collectors

    Information and Notes

    1. Low-iron textured and solar glass features precision micro-embossed surface patterning designed to optimize light scattering, enhance beam uniformity, and maximize total solar energy transmittance.

    2. Ultra-clear low-iron glass formulations ($Fe_2O_3 \le 0.015\%$) eliminate internal absorption in the near-infrared and visible spectrums, making it an ideal optical substrate for both solar power generation and high-efficiency lighting engines.

    3. Optical glass substrates can be combined with vacuum-deposited dielectric thin films (PVD-EBGE) to integrate additional functions, such as anti-reflective (AR), anti-ultraviolet (UV-Cut), or dichroic color filtration.

    4. Physical chemical tempering or thermal strengthening applies to substrate processing with minimum dimension and geometric shape limitations. Please refer to Introduction to Tempered Glass for technical details.

    5. Dimension abbreviations: "Dia." or "Ø" denotes circular outer diameter.
