Chemically Strengthened Glass
Chemically strengthened glass (also known as chemically tempered glass or ion-exchanged safety glass) is ultra-strong optical glass treated through a molten potassium salt bath process to replace smaller sodium ions with larger potassium ions on the surface layer.
Functions:
Imparts high surface compressive stress and deep layer of depth (DOL), delivering superior bending strength, scratch resistance, and impact durability for ultra-thin substrates (under 2.0mm) without causing thermal warp or optical distortion.

Information and Notes
1. Chemical Tempered glass has better pressure resistance than ordinary glass, and is suitable for use as a panel or protective sheet for touch products such as mobile phones and tablets.
2. Special shapes or thicknesses can be cut or machined according to customer requirements.
3. The transmittance curves are measurements at 0°of incidence angle. The part that does not penetrate is absorbed by the material of the glass itself.

6. The highest safe temperature refers to the temperature at which the glass substrate itself can withstand without breaking under uneven heating or temperature difference. It can be higher in the case of uniform heating or small (slow) temperature difference change.
